They are also v fine with apples. And bananas if you were a normal person who liked bananas, which you are not.

Bananas are the Devil's own fruit.

I think we need a little more elaboration here... what type of peanut butter? Was it that Smuckers natural kind that tastes great but forces you to stir in the separated oil when you first buy it? I always hated that project, which invariably spilled peanut oil down the side of the jar and onto whatever surface it happened to be resting on. Was there jelly involved? When the canvas is a food blog we need to know these things, not that we disagree with the original thought.

Dude. If you like natural peanut butter, you can have it without the mess: dump a bunch o' peanuts in the food processor. Blend until peanut buttery. Place into plastic thingy. Voila -- natural peanut butter with no mess.

1. I may feel virtuous when eating the kind of peanut butter that is nothing but peanuts, but I enjoy the kind with salt and sugar more. I use various "natural" brands, meaning you have to stir the oil and it has no trans fat, but also benefits from a little tasty salt and sugar. Then we store in the fridge so it does not separate again. Makes it a little hard to spread, but avoids the annoying spillage problem. I have been having that problem with tahini, and it is a PITA. (ha ha)

2. What part of peanut butter on homemade honey whole wheat did you not understand? It was au naturel, other than that. If there were honey, jam, dread bananas, or marshmallow fluff I would have said so. So there!
